Just as the seasons change through out the year; so do the sports that my children play. Spring time is by far the busiest for us. Both Landin and Kian are playing baseball (Mike is assistant coach on both teams again) and this year Landin has added lacrosse to his plate. So, basically 6 out of 7 days and/or nights are spent at the "fields." Today, Landin had his first Lacrosse game and they had a shut out, 7-0!
Baseball, on the other hand has been in full swing (pun intended) since mid March, with opening day on April 25. Since it has been on the rainy side the last few weeks we have had just as many rain outs as games. At this rate, the season won't end as it normally does (mid June) and we may be making up games until July. Then add All-stars/Tournament games and we're looking at a season ending in August! That's when we'll start singing our baseball song. . . It's the sport that never ends . . . it goes on and on my friend. It's all good though. I enjoy just about every minute of it. Here's a few snapshots we were able to catch of the boys and their respected teams.
